So far, I have made a rough plan of what I want its layout to be. from here, I will add the fonts and colour backgrounds needed. After which, the images will be integrated to complete it.

Digipak inspiration ideas

For the digipak, I have decided to go with the 6 pan layout. This is to allow for it to seem as though it provides more content than a normal CD. The images for the digipak will feature similar settings to these, using naturalistic lighting as well. To keep in coherence with the music video. I will slightly oversaturise the images because it will connote the idea of fairytale due to the fact that fairy tale are depicted as very vibrant .

 MUSE

The cover is identical to the cover of the normal CD album case. However, like all of the digipak, it is made of a cardboard material that connotes authenticity and quality in the product.

The inside covers feature photography that is unique to this digipak. One side is a slip containing the album CD and the other slip contains an additional booklet featuring artwook relating to the music, and also the lyrics for each song.









The back cover shows unique photography with the contents list of the tracks. followed with the barcode and the names of the record labels and copyright owners in the bottom right hand corner.

Our group has got a few more missing shots 2 days ago which has now been placed into the premier pro.

Today, We will gather the very last of the shots we are missing. After which, will edit into the music video to create our first complete rough cut of the entire music video.

Audience feedback will be taken from a group of people after and colour and lighting effects will be added to the clips.

This music video By 'Royal Blood' stood out to me for a few reasons. It is solely narrative based, with the visuals going back and fourth between live action and cartoon graphic animation. This allows the scenes that are slower and with no violenceto fit the less intense moments of music. The action in the animated scenes matches the pace and beat of the music. The most impressive aspect is when the there is seamless transition between the animation and the live action, which helps to make the violrnce in the animation more believable.

During this week, our group has undergone more filming. This is because we were behind on schedual due to limiting weather and availability of the assembley rooms to film in.

This wednesday, the two last locations we have will have their filming done and editing can start in Thursday lesson time. some blog posts such as grade boosters will neeed to done on the side line.

video of the week

This nmusic video 'Clint Eastwood' by 'Gorillaz' features animation which is used to show both a performance and narrative basis. The lirics don't have a direct link to what is being shown most of the time but the action and editing takes keep in time to the music, making it amplfied. This is appealijng because it gives the animation much more meaning.

Due to trouble with the weather, we've had to re arrange the strucuture of our video to compensate for lighting. The four sections still exist but the duration of some have been increased or decreased.

There are alsosome blog posts on research and development that nee to be posted.

The audience feedback for the pitch will be obtained today from one of the other groups. It will be in the form of and MP4 file which will be put on to blogger through youtube.

This is the music video for Kasabian's song 'Vlad the impaler'. I chose it because of how the lighting and colour represent the indie rock genre. the pace of the music is also shonw through the pace of editing and camera movement. The intertextuality to vlad the impaler is also interesting because it is shown in a comedic tone and this intertextual reference is rare in music video, which connotes the idea of it being unique and different. This is also something which cohers to the genre.

• Creativity is the self expression of someone that can be considered subjectable. creativity is universal.
• You can be more creative by practicing on self reflection and looking for inspiration.
• creativity comes from every experiance you have such as educatio, childhood and skills.
•  Creativity allows for a music video to express more and contain more meaning behind them. it can damgae them by not following a certain structure or not followqing the generic conventions.

Sir Ken robinson stated that creativity is diverse and comes from original ideas that have value. He also says that creativity depends on making mistakes and then learning from them and that error is stigmatised in the education system .

I agree with the fact that he says that creativity is diverse and that education somewhat stunts peoples creativity. However I disagree with him to an extent because teh errors we make in life give us enough creativity and there is no such thing as a completly original idea because creativity derives from inspiration we ourselves personally experiance.
